Tuesday, June 13th - Monday, June 19th

So let's start things off from after when we met last week.

So Tuesday. Well it was a Tuesday. So it was pretty normal I guess, not much super interesting. Had a District meeting, but afterwards we came back and just well worked like normal. Though that night, I opened up my birthday Package. And I had a great time reading all the cards and letters. Thanks all of you who wrote I enjoyed reading it. And thanks Mom for putting it all together.

So Wednesday was my birthday, we started by waking up at 4:30 to head to Estili for a Multi Zone Conference, so we did that pretty much all day. And we got back in the night time. On the bright side they had a screw up and ordered way too much pizza, so we brought home an extra large pizza and a box of bread sticks to our house. Great birthday Present.

Thursday, we didn't end up doing all too much, just some normal work. Though we did contact this one sister, who isn't a member, and she said she had been praying for the missionaries (since she is an ex investigator from like 2 years ago) to come by and visit her. So that was a really neat interesting experience. Also we found a turtle outside our house in the morning, and decided. (a baby turtle) Let's keep it as a pet! But when we came back in the night it wasn't there....we searched everywhere for Franklin, and then found him finally, we were like. We have no idea how to care for a baby turtle, we don't wanna kill it. So we let it go into a small stream.

Friday. Well it was a normal Friday, We didn't do all too much special. Just working like normal. Though there was a Jehovah witness rally thing going on here in the center of town, which was super weird. Since we don't have JWs here. Like none. But there were hundreds that came from nearby cities for this. Super weird, and it went on until Sunday.

Saturday. We worked hard and got ready for Sunday The church.

Sunday yesterday. Well we managed to bring the lady who was praying for us to stop by to the church so she could be an example to her son. So that was good.

And Today, we started off with the ZLs at our place to chill, I went with Elder Fankhauser (my old comp) To find a pizza place....which didn't sell pizza until 3...we learned that at 12. So we bought burgers. But they weren't bad. So that was nice. Anyways that was how things were. Thanks everyone for reading. Love ya all. Cya

Tuesday, June 6th - Monday, June 12th

So if we start with the day to day basis with this. Well Tuesday we had a normal meeting. Not much special. well this week was a pretty normal average week. Until Saturday. Saturday we had a multi mission conference with an Apostle So we went to that. We had to wake up nice and early but it's alright I had lots of energy that day. So I sat in the back of a mini bus that we rented out with the zone, and was talking with some of the other Elders from the States. So it was nice to have a nice long conversation. We all agreed that we can't have the biggest conversations with the natives here, since well limitations with our knowledge on the language.

We got to Managua in a good amount of time, so we had McDonalds for lunch. Mmmm I got ice cream so that was nice. Then we got there and I chilled with some of my other missionary friends, and got my Christmas present I bought back in Managua a couple changes again - I had some custom rings made and it took forever to get them. It basically turned into my birthday present haha.

Anyways the Apostle Elder Renlund came and spoke with us, and it was a good time. He talked a lot about just like the origin of this (Missionary) call, and how we all have the right and obligation to receive the personal revelation that this call is a call from God. And also he talked a bit about attitude, and how we need to keep a good attitude, while still working hard to find the miracles here. But yeah it was a great time, then we headed back and had to sleep at the Zone leaders house since we got back after the last Bus to my area left. So we went to the church in the morning and had the highest attendance I have seen in our area so far these weeks, so that was a nice thing. And today for our Zone activity we climbed a mountain to go to a lookout point. So I got really burnt, but it's not so bad. It was a nice little hike.

I guess that's it. Thanks for reading everyone.

Peace out!

Tuesday, May 30th - Monday, June 5th

Alright so I guess for this big letter, let's start getting some stuff down.

So this early week it went like normal. Working and all that normal stuff. So Nothing really special with Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday, or Thursday. Same old Same old.

Though Friday we took the morning and finally moved houses.  We got out of one of the nastiest houses I've seen for the missionaries here, and now we are in a nice decent looking house. So it's a big step up. So that took most of the morning and man I was a bit tired. Then in the afternoon we had the baptismal Interview for our Investigator Isabel. So that went nicely. It was really great and a miracle that we got permission for her. So she didn't want to be baptized because she was afraid of the ability to get permission from her mother. Since she is 15. But something that happened is that her dad came back the day before for the first time in like a month. Since he works in a different city, and he was only back for like 6 hours, and she got permission from him. So that was great since because we got that we were able to baptize her, and she was super ready. It's great to see the Lord's hand in the work.

So Saturday, we prepared things for the baptism and then baptized her. Not much more than that. Though our convert from last week, shared her testimony (since she is best friends with the person we baptized) and it was super amazing. So yeah that is how our Saturday went. We also managed to bring a family of like 5 investigators to see the baptism, so it was cool.

Sunday, well we had the testimony meeting in Church, then afterwards we were fed Soup for lunch....man I'm not a fan of soup here. It is basically just a mix between boiled fat and water, with a bunch of weird vegetables, and a giant bone with a tiny bit of meat. But I managed to eat it. And for dinner we went to an area super far out, but the dinner was awesome (chicken that was cooked so good!). We had to walk like 40 minutes to get back in the dark, but we brought our flashlights since we were prepared. Boy scout power here! Haha.

Anyways that was kinda how this week went. Today we didn't do much, though we have an important meeting on Saturday, so I'm looking forward to that, and I'll be able to see most of my mission friends there. So I guess see you all next week. Keep being awesome you all!
